Strength signifies inner resolve, power and fortitude. As the woman works with the lion, her inner strength influences the lion to obey.

This is not about pushing and forcing something.  Inner strength and confidence work best.

What else works well with strength? Empathy and care — the woman is wearing flowers and a simple dress. She is not wearing something like armor.

Empathy can soften strength and make it more effective. In this way, demonstrating some empathy can work like a velvet glove covering an iron hand.
