    The Page of Wands is an "announcement" card. The young Page stands there, with his wand, looking like he is about to make a pronouncement or declaration.

  • Tarot Card of the Day: April 7, 2021 — Ten of Pentacles

    The Ten of Pentacles is a card that can say "family in the homestead." In the foreground, a patriarchal figure sits in his chair -- which is more like a throne -- in profile. His two dogs appear to be interacting with him.

    This is a very appropriate card for March 15, The Ides of March. As we may remember from history and Shakespeare, March 15 is the date that Julius Caesar met his end at the hands of several conspirators, including Cassius and Brutus, in 44 B.C.

    The Six of Swords is often a card of rescue, of moving out of a bad situation into a better one. In many ways, it simply represents change.  The six swords can be read as a cage or a protective fence.
