Tarot Card of the Day: Aug. 20, 2022 — King of Cups
Here I sit, on my throne, holding my scepter in one hand and my cup in the other.
From time to time, I go out on the water while sitting in the throne on a barge, and other times I go out on a small raft. Some people might think me a little crazy for taking a barge or a small raft out into such rough water but I have found that regardless of the tumult going on around me, I have always been able to maintain a sense of inner calm. I have never capsized.
People often come to me to get advice. Being this source of wisdom and advice for others can get a little tiring, but I suppose providing guidance is probably the thing that I’m most good at, and so I’ve been smart to leverage that particular talent throughout my life.
Better than many people, I can think critically about what is going on and, generally speaking, make some pretty good decisions for myself, and give good recommendations to others. People often ask me for tactical or strategic advice when it comes to their businesses or their romantic or other kinds of relationships.
Some respects I’m like a social worker who just happens to be of royal blood.
Have you ever found yourself adrift in a rough sea? How did you get back to shore or weather the storm on the water? Did you seek counsel from someone like the King of Cups? If you would like, please share in the comments below.
