Tarot Card of the Day: January 10, 2022 — The High Priestess
Tarot Card of the Day: January 10, 2022 — The High Priestess
The High Priestess is a card of inner knowledge and intuition. Often she reminds you to listen to that “still small voice” — your intuition. Intuitive knowledge is something you know without being able to point objectively to how you know it.
But doing that can be easier to say than to do. It can be difficult to differentiate intuition from wishing and hoping, or imagining.
One way to differentiate intuition is to ask yourself whether your feeling about something you are considering doing is a strong “Yes!” or a weak “yes.” If you feel a strong” Yes!” then that is most likely your intuition speaking to you. But if your sense or feeling is mild, ambivalent, or weak, then it is likely really a “no.”
Intuitive knowledge hits you suddenly and often “out of the blue.” It can also concern a topic unrelated to what you were thinking about a split-second before.
Remember that if you are envisioning yourself doing something, then you are imagining. If you are comparing pros and cons, you are analyzing — you are not listening to your intuition.
And if the High Priestess appears in your reading, she is encouraging you to be open to something you strongly know or feel that is not the result of envisioning or imagining. Then, use that intuitive sense information together with the results of your analysis and imagination.
Can you remember the last time you listened to your intuition? How did the situation work out?
