Tarot Musings: March 1, 2023 — Eight of Pentacles
This reading is for you, my followers. I pulled one card for today: The Eight of Pentacles
Today we start a new month. You may wonder where February went, since it had only 28 days this year. If you were born on February 29, then you probably feel especially short-changed.
When the craftsman is creating his pentacles to sell, and hanging each one of them on the wall as they are completed, look where you can take concrete action.
You may have a clear sense of what you need to do today. You may have three things you are focusing on, with one of them being something you can consider “done” when you finish today’s task for it.
If that is the case, fantastic.
But for many of us, too many things pull us in too many different directions. Our “to do” lists are simply too long and varied.
Focus. What is one thing you can take “completed” action on today? There may be more than one thing you could “finish” today.
If so, look at your list, or write your list of things you could finish, and put each one of them in a category. What kind of category?
Priority.
What is late? “Late” can be hard to define. What consequences will you experience if you don’t “finish” a particular task today?
If you will experience unfortunate, unpleasant, or negative consequences for not finishing a task today, that should be number 1 on your priority list. And if you have more than one “number 1 priority,” then ask yourself which task, unfinished today, will cause the worst consequence?
Make that your number 1 thing to do today.
