Tarot Musings: March 22, 2023
I shuffled and drew one card from the deck for today, for you, my followers: Strength
Yesterday I drew the Eight of Pentacles and The Emperor, which presented us with a reminder to put our noses to the grindstone and get things done, to bring about a tangible result, and try to accomplish both volume as well as quality.
And today we have Strength.
Putting forth great effort can reduce our reserves of strength, and we need ways to replenish those supplies of fuel.
How can you replenish your strength supply? Is it through exercise that helps you build muscle? Is it through games or other mental challenges that you participate in during your free time -- card games, board games, video games, cellphone games or other activities that cause you spend some energy but that also help you make a deposit in your energy bank?
The athlete expends great energy but builds and uses biological, visceral strength.
Emotional strength enables us to withstand serious challenges. (That which does not kill me makes me stronger.)
Financial strength gives us the ability to endure the difficult times, the lean times -- as many of us have gone through for the last couple of years.
And of course there is spiritual strength, which many may describe as "faith," or "courage."
Faith, strength and courage form a braid. Are strength, faith and courage braided together in your life? Or has the braid come apart?
