Tarot Musings -- November 5, 2022 -- The Lovers and Ten of Wands

The first item that occurred to me as I pulled these cards is:

“The burdens we bear for those we love.”

Not “Loving someone is burdensome.” And not, “We are a burden to those who love us.”

We often bear burdens for those we love. Sometimes those burdens are heavier than others.

Of course those burdens can be financial or physical. But the emotional burdens we bear for those in relationships, especially intimate ones, can be especially heavy and substantial.

Are you free of a burden? If you are, terrific.

You may be carrying a burden and not even be conscious of it. It may have been there from the start (such as an inability to manage something important that most people can handle without difficulty).

How much weight are you willing to carry for the ones you love?

Does the burden seem or feel lighter to you because of your willingness to carry it, or cope with that weight, that situation?

How much weight are you willing to carry for the ones you love?

Are you carrying more weight than you bargained for?
