Tarot Musings -- November 7, 2022 -- The Fool and King of Wands
The Fool faces a world of vast possibilities. Many paths are available, but does The Fool make smart choices when encountering a fork in the road? Maybe not.
The Fool may eagerly step forward, not paying attention to where he — or she or they — is going. They are likely in danger of walking off a cliff or suffering some other negative, harmful or painful event.
Lacking awareness, The Fool may make unwise decisions, may not consider potential negative outcomes. The Fool may be ignorant, or uninformed -- not necessarily evil, but not highly knowledgeable.
And The Fool could be misled by someone with nefarious intent.
The King of Wands, on the other hand, possesses great wisdom, and he has grown and matured.
Unlike the Fool, the King has likely considered the options and made smart decisions. His judgement is more informed than that of The Fool.
Have you ever been aware that you did not know things? In other words, did you "know what you do not know?" That's not a bad thing.
If you are not highly knowledgeable or experienced in auto mechanics, you should probably not try to replace your engine. Even changing your oil or replacing windshield wipers may be beyond your comfort zone.
And that is OK.
But, with experience and wisdom, and smart judgement -- an ability to think a few steps ahead and consider various outcomes, the King of Wands — whether a he or she or they — may be an auto mechanic, or a car hobbyist.
The King of Wands may be perfectly capable of changing his oil, or even replacing an engine, armed with the right tools and equipment.
In which areas are you more like The Fool, and in which are you more like the King of Wands?
